Gel
They quickly became more popular as a more artificial nail. They are made up by painting a premixed liquid chemical gel into your nails, and after each coat your nails are placed under UV lamps to “heal” – meaning to place them. Wrap
This method can be applied to all nails (to add length), or to individual fingernails cracked or broken. Silk, linen, paper or fiberglass are preformed, by the nail, and then attached with a special glue that will not damage the nail. This is a temporary treatment because the adhesive will loosen up within 2-3 weeks.
Pro: This is the most hypocritical artificial nails and so they are considered the best looking. They are ideal for people who are allergic to chemicals in acrylic or gel. This is the best method to repair nails as it helps to grow nails.
Con: Because it is thinner and softer, it does not handle as much wear as other artificial nails. It is also not a great choice for women who have a particular lifestyle when glue is soluble in water.
Sculpture
Acupuncture treatment is very popular in most salons. This process uses metals, leaves or forms – mostly large stickers, hard – placed under the nose of each natural nail, between your nails and your skin, creating a foundation.
