Product Maintenance Guidelines

Maintenance instructions are just a manufacturer’s recommendation. These are not guaranteed methods and do not necessarily cover all possible problems arising from the warranty. Warranty does not cover items that are damaged due to misuse or lack of proper maintenance.

Styling Chairs, Barber Chairs, All Purpose Chairs, Shampoo Chairs, Dryer Chairs & Stools

  • The screws on chairs and stools need to be checked regularly.
  • Avoid direct contact with sunlight as this may cause the color to fade.
  • Avoid direct contact with air conditioning or heaters as they can make the material harden over time.
  • Wipe the chair frequently to remove sweat and dirt.
  • Use a plastic cover to protect the back seat from sweat and stains. If not, it can lead to discoloration.
  • Customers are not allowed to step on footrests because they will easily lead to damage.
  • Before helping your client up from the styling chair, the hydraulic must be lowered completely.

Laminate Manicure Tables, Styling Stations, Reception Desks and Carts

If there is granite / glass, this surface should be used to arrange tools and equipment instead of wood surfaces that are less resistant to scratches and heat. Chemicals such as acetone and dyes can affect the finish of wood and granite surfaces. Overly acidic or alkaline foods, beverages, and household detergents can harm marble and granite through a process known as etching, in which the reactants react with calcium carbonate in marble or granite. Engraving is most noticeable by scratching the surface of marble or granite. Stains, burns and chemical discoloration are not covered under warranty. Other chemicals and dyes should only be used with color cart only.

Hair Dryers & Hair Steamers

Any use of water other than distilled water in these products will void the warranty.

According to the manufacturer’s instructions, the hair dryer must be cleaned once a week. A mixture of 2 tablespoons of vinegar should be placed in a water tank and diluted with distilled water. The entire cycle of this mixture should be run completely through and then a second cycle of distilled water will be run shortly thereafter. The more steamers used, more often they have cleaned more often.

Dryers and Boilers must be cleaned and maintained regularly.

Backwash Shampoo Systems & Shampoo Bowls

Do not use any product that has a detergent or herbicide to clean or sanitize the shampoo. Such products can cause corrosion and leakage.

Licensed plumbers must perform all installation work for plumbing and all plumbing related equipment. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the warranty.

Pedicure Chairs

As soon as any product has a detergent or herbicide used to clean or sanitize pedicure sinks. Such products can cause corrosion and leakage.

Skin Care Equipment

Any use of water other than distilled water in these products will void the warranty.

Filters need to be replaced regularly and appropriately. Do not replace the filter that can cause blockage in the line and lead to malfunction.

Avoid placing a dry towel in the hot towel cabinet as it may cause a fire hazard or may cause heat and / or damage to internal components.
